It's especially important since WWLB is dedicated to my dad and two wonderful friends who lost their battles with cancer in the last few years.

For A Price is Patrena's second published work and was a new and ground breaking event for her. Intimate and imaginative, Patrena went beyond her own boundaries and created a story that touches on  sexuality in a way that is refreshing and real.

For A Price: a story of two college students that become lovers and share their lives with their best friends.  Partying hard with her two best friends; Charlene is not aware of what lurks in her home.  Charlene and her boyfriend Chris lives take a drastic turn for the worse when a jealous roommate wants more than being friends.  Zeta becomes bitter and makes life miserable for the love birds by secretly altering her appearances.  Desperate and unafraid of lash backs; the amount of destruction that Zeta creates becomes a catastrophe.  Charlene’s wit is nothing short of a walk in the park; becoming suspicious she unravels some things she wishes she never knew.   Patrena focuses on romance and fiction novels, finding the myriad of endings and possible story twists enticing and invigorating.  She began writing poetry in her youth, and found freedom and emotional expression in that work.  It wasn’t until 2008 that she began to write books that she would share with the world.  In that time, she has put out five different books - Including "Tattered Ink", "White Chocolate", and "The Road".

About writing, Patrena says - "The accomplishment of being able to create stories and make it resemble life like characteristics is a big thing for me.  I recall being told that I would make a good story teller as a child; I never knew that one day I would put the pen to the paper and create a book."
